This Privacy Policy explains how AlceLab (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal information when you use NomNomCam, our website, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide while using NomNomCam. This can include your email address, profile details, goals, food and nutrition entries, activity and hydration entries, and photos or voice recordings submitted to use food-recognition or voice-input features.

We may also collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, such as device type, app version, diagnostic data, and usage information.

How we use information

• To provide and maintain NomNomCam’s food, nutrition, hydration, and activity features.
• To process photos and voice input when you choose to use those features.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
• To protect the security and reliability of NomNomCam and improve its performance.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may use carefully selected service providers to host, secure, analyse, or operate NomNomCam. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, our rights, or the service.

AppsFlyer attribution and analytics

We use AppsFlyer as a service provider to understand which marketing activity led to an installation and to measure the subscription journey. AppsFlyer receives a randomly generated identifier for the app installation, limited technical information about the device and app, and product events such as onboarding completion, paywall display, checkout, trial start, subscription start, the method used to log food, and whether a weight check-in is above, on, or below the user’s plan.

These events do not include meal contents, food photos, voice recordings, exact weight values, hydration or activity records, or profile answers. NomNomCam does not currently request App Tracking Transparency permission or use the IDFA for cross-app tracking. If this changes, we will update this policy and request any consent required by law.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To make a request, contact us using the address below.

Children

NomNomCam is not directed to children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as NomNomCam evolves. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date.
